In this competition we received over 1000 entries – one of the highest for some time…and the level was excellent. The shortlist is chosen with all the above criteria in mind…and we hope you agree that the winners picked from the shortlist are fine examples of macro photography. We received many flower entries but this one by Patrik (blomman) caught the judges eyes for its subtle overexposure, shallow focus and reduced tonal range.
