The village consists of around twenty wooden huts, beautifully weathered by time, wind, and sea. Their simple construction and long traditions give the place a powerful authenticity. In the surrounding landscape, traces of old drying racks remain, marked by the stones that once supported their posts. There is no electricity here, only the quiet presence of the sea and a natural freshwater spring among low rauks just southeast of the site.
